How to Use

Exactly how you use Curl Defining Gel on your hair differs depending on your curl type. That's why we like to give you a hand.

Have you ever used products with silicones before? Then always make sure to do a final wash beforehand. This is done by washing your hair with a shampoo that contains sulfates. This shampoo breaks down the silicone layer, leaving your hair completely clean to use CG proof products. After this final wash, you can use a CG proof Shampoo from now on.

Are you a type 2 and/or 3 wavy girl? Then we advise you not to use too much of the gel. Too much gel can make your hair too heavy.

This can cause your curls to not form optimally and sag out as the day progresses. Therefore, squeeze out the excess product with the Curly Hair Towel.

Are you a curly girl with type 3 hair? Then we recommend using a good amount of the gel. This is because your curls are prone to frizz and will benefit from using a gel. Just make sure you always apply the gel on wet hair.

Do you have coily type 3 and/or 4 hair? Then we recommend using a little more of the gel. What is important with this hair type is that you need moisture.

First of all, make sure you take good care of your hair in the shower with the CG conditioner, our Moisture Conditioner is perfect for this.

After this step, it is also important to use a leave in conditioner such as the Curl Styling Milk and then apply the CG gel.
